No count cross stitch was popular in the 90's. It is essentially that no count. Fabric is Adia and the pattern is printed onto the fabric. It actually looks like a paint-by-number only on fabric. Stitch in the areas indicated with the color indicated, making sure to stitch over the lines. Now these lines are a guide and not a distinct boundary like it is in the paints. Many of the kits are Gallery No count. Which means that the background is printed also and the stitching is more to create dimensional effect.
