Fiber Trends knit pattern 102LC Charlotte's Easy lace Shawl designed by Lily M. Chin. This shawl has the added advantage of growing in width faster than a standard triangle shawl. You're not limited to only very fine laceweight yarns, even chunky mohair works well. Adjust needle size accordingly to match your yarn choice. Lily's Shawl used 775 yds lace weight on size 6 needles and measures 37" deep by 75" wide. Fiber Trends did one with 1000yds of cotton yarn that measures 42" deep by 86" wide and a 47" deep by 103" wide shawl on size 11 needles using 630 yards of mohair.
